My Singapore story
Exploring Singapore is always a joy. Despite its size, it always has new things to offer. I like how it is busy but not chaotic. I know it’s small and I love how everything is 15 minutes away, but it feels very spacious, with the greenery and open areas. Alonso wins Singapore Grand Prix 2010!

Fernando Alonso won the Singapore Grand Prix tonight in his Ferrari, in a close fought battle with Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel in second place by 0.2 seconds. Mark Webber finished a distant third in his Red Bull, 29.1 seconds behind. Alonso takes pole-position, fastest lap and the race win – the first driver to do so since Michael Schumacher at the 2004 Hungarian Grand Prix.FULL ARTICLE

Thrills and excitement at this year’s F1 support races

The F1 cars are no doubt the star attraction of this week’s Singapore GP, but there are other fast cars vying for attention. Two support races – the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and the Formula BMW Pacific events – are churning up the excitement as well. The Porsche Carrera Cup, the region’s premier GT championship, is seeing a record entry of 23 drivers. There will be two Classes – A for the professionals and B for amateurs – with all competing in two races instead of one this year. Schumacher ‘excited’ by Singapore spectacle!

Michael Schumacher is excited ahead of his debut at the Singapore street circuit this weekend.
The track was added to the calendar in 2008, two years after Schumacher retired from Formula One.
